French ceramic nymphs are simple but very captivating. They are made with or without a tungsten beads and are made up of lead wire windings coated with glass colours. At the end of the fly tying they are literally baked in the oven. The advantage of these artificial flies is that they are very heavy and therefore suitable for deep water and fast currents.
