The fly tying hook JIG EVO has been designed in Italy by Hotfly and produced according to their specifications in Japan by the best professionals in the field. After several tests this shape with a wide curvature and with the point facing inwards was born and has given really good results. The fish lost with this hook during the tests were very few.

The point has been sharpened through a corrosion process with acids and for this reason it is very sharp. To protect this sharpening from contact with river rocks, the point of the JIG EVO has been turned inwards. This curvature not only protects it but also makes it more difficult to unhook the fish.

To increase the resistance of these barbless hooks, the JIG EVO like all Hotfly hooks have been forged. This ensures that they do not bend even when they are put under stress by big fish for a long time. Forging is nothing more than a flattening of the hook's bend, which from cylindrical to oval.

All hooks named "jig" have the eye widely inclined inwards. This actually shifts the centre of gravity of the hook so that when fishing it always remains with the point facing upwards.
